He and his wife Jan established Rouse Motorcycles in 1993, growing it into a trusted hub for farmers and riders who value practical advice, reliable machines, and genuine local service. Based in the heart of Hikurangi, Shayn leads a team known for its hands‑on approach, deep product knowledge, and commitment to keeping customers moving. A passionate supporter of Northland rugby and an active contributor to the Hikurangi community, he’s built strong relationships across the region. Shayn brings experience, integrity, and a down‑to‑earth style that makes choosing the right Polaris a straightforward, confidence‑building experience.

Nick serves as 2IC, Parts and Sales Representative, supporting both the parts department and the sales floor with a calm, knowledgeable approach. Since joining Rouse Motorcycles in 2013, he’s become a trusted point of contact for sourcing parts, helping customers choose the right gear, and keeping the day‑to‑day running smoothly alongside Shayn. His mix of technical understanding and customer‑focused service makes him a key part of the team. Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending time with his family.
